“I cannot recommend Carnival Arts highly enough and I am confident that they will add considerable value to other events elsewhere”  -  Eastnor Castle General Manager Simon Foster

Since 1996, the Carnival Arts Group have been developing visual arts ideas with children to create colourful sculptures and encouraging them to take part in carnival processions within communities, schools and festivals.

The group’s dynamic eco-artists, led by Rebecca Huggett and Leo Caithness, are experienced and professional project leaders. With 15 years of educational experience as arts practitioners, they can work with teachers, festival organisers and community leaders to bring almost any curriculum subject to vibrant life for children of all ages and ability.

As well as willow withy sculpture making, the Carnival Arts Group offer workshops in creating sculptures from bamboo and scrap materials, screen or block printing, eco art, mask making and kite making.  They also provide film-makers and photographers to work with young people to document a  projects’ purpose, process and outcomes.
